Axis Helps Miami

User experience and user interface design, CMS system design, style guide, and custom brand illustrations. Created for Urban Impact Lab

Axis Helps is a one-stop resource connecting individuals and businesses with the support they need to recover from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s an initiative of Urban Impact Lab, funded by Microsoft and Citi, and created in partnership with major nonprofit organizations.

I designed and built the platform in Webflow, established the visual style for the brand, created a custom photo illustration style, and developed specialized tools for their users.

The platform offers assistance with everything from housing assistance (emergency shelter, how to stop an eviction) to small business financing (grants + loans). We pared complex, jargon-heavy program information down to key details so users can quickly understand a program's parameters and if they qualify for assistance.
